Zendt Payments Pvt. Ltd. ("Zendt", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable Indian law including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information we collect

When you join our waitlist, create an account, or use Zendt, we may collect:

  • Identity & contact: name, email, phone number, PAN, Aadhaar (where required for KYC), and business details.
  • Financial: bank account details, UPI IDs, transaction history, invoices, and payment amounts.
  • Technical: IP address, device type, browser, cookies, and usage analytics.
  • Communications: support tickets, emails, and feedback you send us.

2. How we use your data

  • Process domestic and international payments and settlements to your INR bank account.
  • Verify your identity and comply with RBI, FEMA, and anti-money-laundering regulations.
  • Provide customer support and improve our platform.
  • Send service updates, security alerts, and (with consent) product announcements.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access.

3. Sharing with third parties

We share data only as necessary with:

  • RBI-licensed banking and payment partners who host and settle transactions.
  • KYC/AML verification providers.
  • Cloud infrastructure and analytics providers under strict data-processing agreements.
  • Regulators or law enforcement when legally required.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data retention

We retain transaction and KYC records as required by Indian financial regulations (typically 5–10 years). Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion after launch.

5. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and industry-standard security practices. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we continuously work to protect your data.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@zendtpayments.com. We will respond within 30 days. You may also withdraw marketing consent at any time.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and preferences (such as theme). Analytics cookies, if used, are anonymised. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not work.

8. Children

Zendt is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
